Di tengah-tengah gedung-gedung pencakar langit dan kesibukan kota Jakarta, munculah pusat-pusat kesenian dan budaya yang mampu memberikan kesegaran bagi jiwa-jiwa yang setiap hari bergulat dengan pekerjaan dan masalah urbanisasi. Pusat-pusat kesenian dan budaya di Jakarta telah memberikan warna yang unik dan ciri khas bagi Ibu Kota yang kini berusia 485 tahun. Melalui kegiatan berkesenian, para pelaku seni memiliki harapan untuk menjadikan Jakarta menjadi tempat yang lebih baik dan salah satu tujuan wisata kelas dunia. Terletak di tengah-tengah keramaian kota Jakarta, Ciputra Artpreneur Center bagaikan sebuah “oase” bagi para pecinta seni di tengah kota Jakarta. Berada di kawasan Ciputra World, salah satu tempat tersibuk di Jakarta dimana aktivitas bisnis, pemukiman dan perbelanjaan hidup saling berdampingan.
Ciputra Artpreneur Center memiliki desain arsitektur bangunan yang mampu menarik perhatian dibanding bangunan lainnya di kawasan Ciputra World. Memiliki luas kurang lebih 6.000 meter persegi dan merupakan salah satu ruang seni terbesar di Jakarta. Pertama kali memasuki area Ciputra Artpreneur Center ini, pengunjung akan disuguhi pemandangan megah, sebuah bangunan bergaya modern yang memiliki bentuk seperti kubus dengan dinding-dinding yang terbuat dari kaca. Ciputra Artpreneur Center dibuka pertama kali pada tahun 2010, dan memulai debut pertamanya dengan pameran seni yang menampilan 82 karya seni kontemporer.
Ciputra Artpreneur Center adalah sebuah tempat yang di dedikasikan untuk kegiatan seni kepada publik. Terdiri atas sebuah galeri dimana terdapat koleksi benda-benda seni Ciputra, ruang pameran, sebuah teater dan ruangan diskusi serta fasilitas pendukung lainnya.
2. Aula Simfonia Jakarta

Salah satu tempat terbaik di Jakarta dan bahkan di Asia untuk menikmati konser musik klasik adalah Aula Simfonia Jakarta (ASJ). Gedung konser ASJ berada di daerah Kemayoran, Jakarta Pusat. Sebelum ASJ dibangun, konser musik klasik biasa diselenggarakan di Gedung Kesenian Jakarta.
ASJ memiliki kapasitas sebanyak 1.400 penonton dengan format kursi mengelilingi panggung, sehingga penonton dapat melihat dengan jelas para musisi yang sedang melakukan aksi terbaiknya dari sudut manapun. Bangunan indah ini didesain Dr Stephen Tong dengan teknik arsitektur tinggi namun memiliki nilai artistik yang kuat.
Berbagai genre musik telah ditampilkan di ASJ, diantaranya adalah musik klasik, musik choral, hingga musik tradisional China. Musisi yang bermain di tempat ini tidak hanya datang dari Indonesia, berbagai musisi kelas dunia pernah bermain di gedung konser ASJ.
Salah satu keunikan yang dimiliki ASJ adalah pipe organ atau organ pipa. Organ pipa adalah salah satu instrumen musik tertua dengan suara terindah di dunia. Organ pipa yang dimiliki ASJ adalah berasal Cassavant Frères, Kanada yang dibuat pada tahun 1962, memiliki 3.217 pipa dengan berat total lebih dari 10 ton. Sebagian dari pipa-pipa organ digunakan sebagai hiasan utama dinding di belakang pentas music hall. Indonesia dan Jakarta khususnya sangat beruntung karena memiliki sebuah gedung konser kelas dunia. Musisi terbaik dari dalam negeri maupun dunia pernah tampil memainkan musik yang berkualitas di sini.
3. Komunitas Salihara

Bagi para pecinta seni nama Komunitas Salihara mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi. Di tempat ini kita dapat melihat perkembangan seni di Jakarta. Berbagai pagelaran seni dan festival yang diselenggarakan, menjadi sebuah obat kerinduan akan kecintaan terhadap karya seni.
Komunitas Salihara sendiri merupakan sebuah wadah budaya yang telah berkiprah sejak 8 Agustus 2008 dan pusat kesenian multidisiplin swasta pertama di Indonesia. Berlokasi di Jalan Salihara, Pasar Minggu, kompleks Salihara yang berada di atas tanah seluas 3.800 meter persegi ini digagas oleh sejumlah sastrawan, seniman, jurnalis dan pecinta seni. Komunitas Salihara telah menyelenggarakan berbagai acara seni, pemikiran dari dalam dan luar negeri berkelas dunia.
Suasana tempat di kompleks Salihara sangat nyaman dan dapat membuat betah bagi kamu yang berkunjung ke tempat ini. Kompleks Salihara memiliki gedung yang dirancang dengan konstruksi bangunan unik, asri dan dilengkapi berbagai fasilitas, seperti perpustakaan, cafe, toko buku, ruang teater dan ruang diskusi. Sambil minum kopi, berdiskusi, membaca buku, online atau sekedar ngobrol terasa sangat nyaman di tempat ini.
Yang membuat saya kagum terhadap komunitas Salihara adalah acara-acara yang diselenggarakan. Mulai dari pentas tari dan teater, konser musik, pembacaan dan diskusi sastra, pemutaran film dan pameran seni rupa. Acara diskusi dan kuliah umum di tempat ini pun sangat berkualitas dan menarik untuk diikuti. Di tempat ini kita dapat menambah wawasan dari pemikiran tokoh-tokoh dari berbagai bidang baik tokoh dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Disamping program seni, diskusi dan pemikiran yang berlangsung secara rutin, saat ini Komunitas Salihara punya acara besar yang diselenggarakan setiap dua tahun, yaitu Festival Salihara. Festival ini merupakan puncak dari seni pertunjukan. Berbagai kreasi kelas dunia seniman Indonesia serta sejumlah pentas perdana karya seniman internasional papan atas ditampilkan pada festival Salihara.

Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) adalah salah satu ikon pariwisata di Jakarta. Berada di Jakarta belum lengkap jika belum mengunjungi TIM. Di kawasan TIM juga terletak Institut Kesenian Jakarta, Planetarium Jakarta, dan juga memiliki enam teater modern, galeri dan ruangan pameran. Salah satu daya tarik kompleks TIM adalah sebuah bangunan dengan desain unik yang tertutup kaca berwarna hijau yang dikenal dengan nama Teater Jakarta. Gedung Teater Jakarta dirancang oleh rumah arsitektur ternama Atelier 6, yang terinspirasi oleh rumah-rumah tradisional di Indonesia. Secara resmi Teater Jakarta mulai beroperasi pada bulan Oktober 2010. Keberadaan Teater Jakarta memiliki peran yang penting untuk menghidupkan kembali seni teater musikal di Jakarta.
Teater Jakarta merupakan teater dengan kapasitas penonton terbesar di Jakarta dengan jumlah kursi sekitar 1.240, atau sebesar tiga kali kapasitas Gedung Kesenian Jakarta dan mengalahkan jumlah kapasitas Bentara Budaya Jakarta yang saat ini memiliki 800 kursi penonton.
Selain sebagai Ibukota dan pusat bisnis di Indonesia, Jakarta adalah salah satu kota paling dinamis, majemuk dan berbagai keunikan dapat dijumpai di kota ini.
